My Macintosh Tree is blooming…does that mean that it will produce apples this fall?
About a year ago, I bought an apple tree. Even though my mac tree is young, the pink flowers are blooming everywhere! Does that mean that it will make apples this fall? Or do mac trees sometimes bloom but make no apples. Thanks!
Correction–the tree was bought 3 years ago
Are there other apple trees nearby? If not, your apple tree will not make apples.
Are there bees in the flowers of your apple tree? If not, you will not get apples.
Given both of the above, you should get apples. Lacking one or both of the above you will not get apples.
