How do I care for “Wintergreen Boxwood Shrubs”?
Wintergreen Boxwood Shrubs are small oval leaved shrubs that like the soil acidic. They should be fertilized with Mir-acid several times during the growing season. If you need to trim them which some people do to make them square or round you can do so. Some people like them just natural though it depends on the setting. If pruning they can be pruned into August. Depending on where you live pruning must end before the first frost is due. Any shrub pruned then will push new growth that will freeze off. They are basically easy care shrubs. Enjoy planting and seeing them grow.
