burning bushes shrubs hedges
I just purchased 3 burning bush shrubs and 3 Blue Hydrangea Hedges?

They are roots with 3 small 9 inch branches. ( they are baby bushes from a nursery) How long will it take for them to get leaves? what is the best way to take care of them ? Im located in the Northern Utah area. Thanks for your help!

This spring you should have leaves. The hydrangeas could use azalea food which changes the pH in the soil. In the beginning I’d keep them in pots in good soil. It sounds like the branches with roots are “sticks” which would be softwood cuttings which have rooted–so they need to establish themselves. They should be easy to take care of. Good luck.
