What are some general hypocrisies in going green?
Example:
People always want to “plant trees” and help the environment, but on Christmas, just about every house in America cuts down a tree and throws it away a week later.
Can anybody think of any other funny situations in which people contradict themselves when it comes to going green?
I plan to use these ideas to write an editorial article for the school paper that is lightly mocking the “go green” movement, but in a funny way.
*note – i support the idea of being more eco friendly, and having a smaller carbon footprint, this article may make fun of that, but it will still promote the idea in general and give everybody a good laugh
Yeah biofuel, they used tractors in order to grow the crops used in biofuel. The tractors burn gas or diesel. On top of that it also hurts our food supply causing prices of food to go up.
