Boy Scouts, Atheists, and Gays . . .?
Since the Boy Scouts of America don’t allow gays or atheists to join their organization, when the Boy Scouts hold some sort of public event to make money such as a Pancake Breakfast or Spaghetti Dinner or Christmas Tree Pickup or an Electronic Waste Donation service, do they want gays and atheists to participate?
If not, why don’t they openly promote that fact?
If so, isn’t that hypocritical? They’ll take money or donations from gays and atheists but not allow them to join their organization.

robert c: You make good points; however, it’s been my experience that most gays and atheists aren’t aware of the Boy Scout’s restrictions. Again, why don’t the Scouts put up large signs saying, “No gays or atheists allowed!”?
well if gays give to boy scouts do gays think boy scouts want to be gay? is that not hypocritical? and if atheist give donations to boy scouts do they expect the scouts to deny god? no one is forcing any gay or atheist to donate money in any way, if they do that’s the choice of the donater not the recipient. do not try to put strings on donations.
