my cheap artificial christmas tree looks bad no matter how many ornaments i put on it. can it be saved?

i bought a $30 tree from target and while it was a great “value”, the tree looks like a Charlie Brown tree no matter how many ornaments i pile on it. i’m not a fan of that silver tinsel stuff or that metallic garland, but at this point i’ll consider them if they will really help make this tree look better than the $30 i spent on it. are there any tricks to help close up the empty spots between the (fake) branches and make this tree look fuller – without buying a new tree? (which is probably what i’ll be doing as soon as the clearance sales start.)

I have a 10 x 13 storage shed filled to the top with Christmas………
This is where I would start
#1. Do you have LOT”S of lights. if not that helps
#2. Always make sure to use different SIZE bulbs
( very large to medium and even small ) make sure they are dispersed all over evenly.
#3. Use ribbon to make bows for fillers
#4. Special Hint:
I bought special craft baskets small ones (big enough to say hold 1-egg) all the same color white, tie them on with preferably plaid ribbon
WHITE colors make the tree look fuller.

#5. Always buys decorations at the end of the season when they are marked down 50% to 80 %

That is why I have so much……….with very little cost.

NOTE: I don’t just have a reindeer or 2 and a sleigh…………I have 8 ( 4 ft )with a flying Rudolph and a 5 foot sleigh.

As time goes by you can accumulate lots of decorations and at 80% off maybe a bigger fuller tree.
