Lyrics for Fairy Song from Hansel and Gretel?
I’m trying to make out the lyrics of a children’s song. It is The Fairy Song, sung by Nicola Stapleton, in the live action, Cannon group DVD, Hansel and Gretel, by MGM.
I have all the lyrics except the first part of the third verse. What comes right after “She dances in a circle…
I know the end: Her feet are very swift
And her eyes are bright.
Where can this sweet fairy be
Dancing in the sun for me.
Maybe she lives underneath
A chestnut tree.
But I can’t make out that one little part. Thank you for any help you can give.
Best I could do was find that the Lyrics are by Enid Futterman. Good luck finding your answer.
