Plants that are poisonous to deer?

In my zone 6/7 gardens (all of which are part to mostly shaded) I have had a number of plants that the deer have never touched: Daffodils, foxglove, monkshood, salvia, ferns, baneberry, astilbe, goats beard, heuchera, iris…I am looking for more plants, annuals and perennials (no shrubs or trees) that are also poisonous or strongly distasteful to deer NOT just from a general list of “deer-resistant” plants…I want the ones that they will snub more often than not. Some lists have plants like hostas, tulips, daylillies but in my yard they’re more like dessert to these critters. We have a large herd this year. I had 7 of them sleeping in my yard not too long ago.
Fences are not an option and repellents work only for very brief periods even when rotated.

So to sum it up I am looking for strongly resistant annuals and perennials for shade/part shade – peferrable flowering or with colored foliage. Thank you.

Shade plants that work well for me in zone 7:

Tiarella
Solomon’s Seal
Columbine
Celandine Poppy
Tricyrtis

For a bit sunny spot:
Peony
Daylily
Coneflower
Rudebeckia

What’s the biggest problem facing gardeners? Drought, lack of sun, or the ever-present threat of disease? Nope, it’s deer. The beautiful animals immortalized in Disney’s Bambi are also the garden’s biggest pests. Increased hunting regulations have caused the deer population to swell to more than 30 million. At the same time, suburban expansion has led to a loss of natural habitat. The resu…
