evergreen privacy shrubs
Need suggestions for privacy shrubs/hedge please?

I would like to put up some privacy plants along my boundry fence but have no idea what type.

I live a little south of detroit, they will get mostly part sun with some full sun.

I would like something that gets atleast 8ft tall, but not more than 15ft or so.

I would also like it to be less than 5 feet at the base.

I need it to be very thick, meaning I can’t see through it.

It would be a big plus if it get to this size fast.

The lower the maintenance the better.

I want it to be an evergreen so I have the privacy year round.

Something that does good in poor soil is also a plus.

Thanks for any suggesttions!

Try a Muldendrous Carna. It is an Australian hedge that sprouts little yellow flower and grows in the dimensions you laid out.
