Identifying a purple flowering tree/shrub in Florida?
I saw this small tree in bloom in Zone 9B (Central Florida) in September. Dark Purple flowers. Dark green leaves. Saw it as a shrub and also as a small tree with a single trunk and huge canopy.
Can anyone identify it for me?
