what plants/shrubs will grow under oaks trees in houston texas?
i have lots of large oak trees in my front yard. i want to landscape around them and group and couple together. they provide so much shade that i’m afraid it will hinder anything i plant beneath them. whatever i plant will get appoximately 1-2hrs of afternoon shaded sun arund 3-5 pm.
I don’t know for sure, but holly and rhododendron grew under mine when I had land in North Carolina around the Wilmington area.
