ornamental shrubs virginia
What is a good dwarf flowering or weeping ornamental for my conditions?

I would like to add a tree or shrub that meets the following conditions:

1) Will receive full western exposure sunlight from about noon until sundown.

2) Is suitable for Zone 7. I am in Northern Virginia.

3) Will grow to be at least 6 feet, but no larger than 12 feet tall.

4) Will not grow to wider than 6 feet (we don’t mind pruning for narrowness).

5) Deciduous or evergreen fine, but would like to avoid conifers, if possible. Would really like something that flowers. Also like something unique or weeping.

6) The tree/shrub will be about 6 feet away from the foundation of the house to the left of a window (hence the desired narrowness).

7) The soil is neutral, but can be adjusted for ph.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!! Thank you!

Lavender Twist Redbud. It’s 8-10 feet tall. It flowers in the spring. It grows in your zone. It can do afternoon sun.
It *might* try to spread more than 6 feet, but it can easily be trained to stay within bounds. It likes neutral soil just fine.

This is to show you what it looks like:
