My palm tree died already?

Hey I replanted a palm tree (a baby one about 5′ tall) in my backyard last year in December and thought it would do well in the Northwest because of global warming. It did fine last Winter because the only cold days we had were in Feb and it didn’t freeze. This year, however… It’s been nothing but below freezing every day and a few days below zero. Now my tree’s pale, wilted, and thin. I think it is dead, but how do I know for sure???

well for starters, a palm tree cannot survive up north, that is why you see them everywhere in places where it never snows like CA, AZ, or FL!
idk where you got it, but you need to transplant it somewhere warm or get it a greenhouse if you can’t give it to someone who lives in proper climate for the poor tree. for now i would wrap it in a sheet in case it isn’t dead until you find out what to do with it. good luck
