Dead trees?
I just moved to a new neighborhood and although i have 1 1/2 acres i have no trees, no nothing yet. My neighbor showed up with about 10 pecan trees and one willow tree. The problem is they all seem dead, they are really dry and brown, he said they look dead but the roots are still OK. I planted them, what do you think are the chances of them surviving? The roots do look good but they look dead. I planted them yesterday. What do you think?
water them a lot and fertilze every couple of weeks with the proper fetilizer. you should poke holes around the tree before fertilizing and then water the fert in so it gets to the roots
