I’m moving to Norfolk, VA and I’m looking to volunteer in environmental work. What are some good programs?

I know there’s a lot of Chesapeake programs. I’m looking for the plant-some-trees, clean-the-area, save-the-planet type volunteer work. I want somewhere that’s organized and has some real outdoor work to do. I don’t want to be paper pushing or feel like I’m not helping in any significant way. Does anyone know any good programs?
