camping on a redwood tree?

I read somewhere in a magazine that you can camp on top of a redwood tree in some campground in the northern california coast, does anyone know anything about this?

I live in the middle of the redwood forests (Humboldt County, CA) and I’ve never heard that. There are hippies around here who will actually build platforms in the trees and camp there for a while in order to stop the harvesting of that tree by the lumber mills, but of course that is trespassing. Other then that, perhaps you can camp on a fallen redwood tree (some are easily wide enough), but I have never heard anything along those lines, and I camp a lot around here.
