What can I plant in May in New Jersey? (Northeast, zone 7)?
I live in Zone 7 in North east new jersey. I am getting a late start on my outside landscaping because i just moved in to a new house.
A few questions:
1. What kind of Perennials can I plant at this time of year? I am looking to sew seeds outside. I’m hoping for the LONGEST lasting flowers… (ie, june-september if possible)? If there is a long list somewhere, please let me know where I can find it online
2. What kind of plants can I plant at this time of year for privacy? Shrubs? Hedges? (May be a stupid question, sorry, im a beginner…. but do they grow from seeds???) I want the most privacy possible, can’t be poisonous, and is in an area that is shaded by other very large trees, so I think it will get partial sun, but little.
