New Landscapes To Beautify Your Home
When it comes to landscape construction, people often think of including the usual elements in their gardens: rocks, huge fountains, walls, and the like. And while these are essential to landscaping and have the potential to beautify a home, having such elements won’t really make your garden any different from other Brisbane gardens. If you wish to do a more interesting and unexpected garden construction, then you ought to base it on a Balinese or Japanese theme. Oriental themes give your Australian home a beautiful and contrasting look. And what makes the construction more refreshing to the eyes is that Japanese and Balinese landscaping involve setting up water structures.
For a Japanese landscape, the key elements are rocks, fresh water, and certain plants. Ideally, you are to put up a timber decking and stairs that will serve as the pathway towards your house gate. This is so, the sides will be left purely for landscape construction. You are to pile rocks and stones unevenly, and leave a deep winding space between rocks to allow water to flow through from one side, crossing under the decking and towards the other side. In between certain rocks, you can have a single Japanese plant, be it a bamboo, a maple, some conifers, or another shrub. The plants should be minimal, and should not dominate over the rocks. On one side where the creek bed ends, you can create a stone fish pond and fill it with coy fish inside.
Now for a Balinese landscape construction, you are to have first and foremost, a wooden front porch, and a small Balinese pond in your backyard. The front porch is for entertaining guests. So you should have a lovely, native garden set under it. Next, you should have a walkway in square tiles, planted directly on the grass. Balinese landscaping also calls for the typical raised soil structures consisting of palm trees and smaller plants. The best part of the construction is the Balinese pond, that although small, is as clean and classy as a swimming pool. This Balinese pond should contain Balinese statues and tiny fountains. Whichever theme or look you would want to achieve, try to choose something unique to be able to transform your garden into a beautiful and captivating landscape.
