shrubs taxonomic classification
Urgent Help!!! What flowering shrub does this look to you?

http://f.imagehost.org/view/0847/P5030341

I am doing a report for my college enviro biology class and in a report we must find the taxonomic classifications for plants we photograph around campus

I apologize if this is a poor quality image, but the flowers have pink petals, and I think when they start to die they go orange (does that happen?) also some have a white eye that looks almost like another flower itself

Finally this was taken of a shrub

Please if you could tell me any specifics about it, at the moment i am leaning towards something of the poppy family but please help me!!!!
Thanks!
EDIT:

Bobby I realize poppies are not generally shrubs but the flowers certainly look like a member of the poppy family don’t you think?
You are a star Harshal, Thanks!

What you have is a shrub of Bougainvillea .

They come in numerous colors .

This is volume 41 of the Memoirs of the New York Botanical Garden published by the NYBG Press. Pereskia is a genus of 16 species of neotropical trees and shrubs. A formal taxonomic treatment is needed because Vaupel’s monograph (1925) is out of date….
