Harry Lauder’s Walking Stick Shrub…Help?
The New Growth Is Straight..Not Crooked. is there something wrong with it or is it normal?
Those are grafted shrubs. The rootstock is not the same variety. If you see straight growth, that is the rootstock trying to grow from below the graft.
Prune off any straight-growing branches as you notice them.
