What are some great privacy shrubs besides arborvitae?
I’m looking for something that is fast growing and gets over 6 feet tall. I live in western NY (zones 5 & 6). Preferably something that would be ever green. I heard holly bushes are good for this but I’m not sure if they grow in my area and get tall.

chinese holly (ilex crenata) will reach anywhere from 10 to 30 feet depending on variety.
cleyera (cleyera japonica) evergreen with red and glossy green leaves reaches 15 feet tall
laurel (prunus laurocerasus) evergreen reaching anywhere from 12 to 25 feet depending on variety
hemlock (tsuga canadensis) will reach 20 to 30 feet tall
clusterberry (cotoneaster) will grow to 15 feet tall
eleagnus (eleagnus ebbingei) will grow to 15 feet
japanese cedar (cryptomeria) will reach anywhere from 5 feet to 50 feet tall depending on variety
falsecypress(chamaecyparis) so many different sizes and varieties
