The Moon looks weird….?

Today, the Moon is incredibly low in the sky, and I mean INCREDIBLY!!!! It looks, literally, like it is gonna fall right out of the sky. It didn’t even look much like the Moon BUT I don’t believe in UFO’s so…
Is there an explanation for this low moon (barely visible over a low tree), is it a UFO or no explanation?

The Moon rises and sets every day. It stands to reason that at some point it must be very close to the horizon or even split by the horizon, such that only half of it is visible. Look again in an hour’s time and it will have moved.
