How do I get a Buckeye tree to grow with a buckeye?

Ok, I grew up in northeastern Ohio. I LOVE buckeye trees,but now i live in Wyoming and i was not sure if they would grow here or not. They do! I found some, big and as beautiful as i remember! I have had my family send me buckeyes out to Wyo and I’ve planted them but i’m kinda clueless! Do i need to freeze them first or boil them or do the trees not really even come from them?
