FESTIVE FLOWERS FOR A PERFECT CHRISTMAS CENTREPIECE

The focus at Christmas time is on one (BIG) plant…and that’s the Christmas tree of course!.   

But Christmas is also an opportunity to use a whole host of other varieties of plants and flowers for gifts and decorations.  Plants and flowers have been used for many hundreds of years as part of the Christmas festivities,  and the popular favourites are still in fashion this year – such as ivy, poinsettias, roses, carnations, holly and of course, red berries.

A highlight for many families is decorating the Christmas tree which can leave very little time (and energy) for decorating the festive table.  Why not avoid this?  With a little pre-planning and minimal effort – you can have the most gorgeous festive centrepiece delivered to your door by your local Perth florist.   Your local online florist will have a catalogue of fresh flower arrangements on their website, but you can always discuss your own special requirements with the florist in person .

The florist will be able to create any arrangement that suits your theme, the size of the table, the colours scheme – and importantly, that suits your budget.  Red roses, carnations, poinsettia, orchids and lilies can be combined with green ivy and holly for the traditional red, white and green colour scheme, but there are endless options.
