What are the innovative usage of one time used office envelops of different sizes?

Normally people either through the used envelopes in the waste paper basket or keep it for occasional recycle.I am looking for some innovative suggestions wrt to saving of trees and environment

I use the larger envelopes to organize papers, like tax papers for a year, notes from a conference, receipts, maps/brochures/notes for a region I’ll travel to, clippings related to a subject, etc. Zero-cost file folders.

I use the return envelopes from junk mail as scratch paper, especially for do-lists, or to keep in a book I’m reading for taking notes.
