Fast growing evergreen shrubs for OR, zone 7 , know any ?
Hi,by ever green, I mean anything that doesn’t shed its leaves (deciduous) in the winter. I want to start planting shrubs and bushes , I’ve been doing tons of flowers, but on one side I need a fast growing shrub. I think photinia might be the best ? Also, I would love to have holly bushes/shrubs etc in my yard. Anyone know much about those ?
Arborvitaes and leyland cypresses are good if you want to make a fast growing border. There are many kinds of holly’s, they can grow from 4 to 30 feet high, some get berries and some don’t and some have small leaves and some have bigger pointy leaves. Hope this helps.
